Suck The Lemon

Suck the Lemon is an on-going multi-media project started in 2021. Comprised of myself, Tharim Cornelisse, Zac Endter, Lana Harris, Sean Whitey and Chloe Bellange, the project aims to expand the possibilities of music and visual improvisation.

Through splicing and beat-stretching archive video clips and CGI, we are able to create a totally synchronized visual accompaniment to the music. We then had the three DJ’s of the group (Sean and Lana and myself) improvise to a projection of the visuals, thus creating a conversation between sound and image.

During our first even in May, 2020 we streamed the resulting improvisation to a large audience. The archive is now available here, for your viewing pleasure!
