Can I Be Her is a club track I released in August 2020. I wanted to create something that tied together a lot of percussive elements from different club music styles, acid techno and house.

I played with a few different variations of the track before settling on it’s structure, which moves through a few fairly minimalist, primal drum patterns before switching to a melodic house ending.

I was also lucky enough to have the incredibly talented San Francisco based producer Halcyon provide a remix of the track for it’s final release. The track was mixed by Luke Teal, one of my most frequent collaborators.

Overall I’m very excited by the creative direction of this music and plan on working in more of a club/ futuristic electronic style more going forward.
