St. Nothing

St. Nothing is a synth-pop band started by Marco Lawrence. After a critically acclaimed debut in 2013, they played numerous gigs around Massachusetts. In the following years, they made two festival appearances: the 2014 Boston Calling Festival playing alongside acts such as Lorde and Twenty One Pilots, and the 2015 Vanyland’s SxSw showcase in Austin, Texas.

Following the release of their second album, Cherry Tree, St. Nothing won ‘Electronic Artist of the Year’ at the Boston Music Awards. 

I joined the band in 2014, helping to mix and produce Cherry Tree. I also contributed live drums (both acoustic and electronic), as well as Ableton programming and backing tracks for live shows. 

In 2020 we released a follow-up EP, under the new Cherry Tree Band Alias. I believe this project represented a much more fleshed out and developed sound.
